The La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association (LSGHAA) continued the 2026 JJ Malixi’s Project Kapatid with its second session for our Grade 5 students of S.Y. 2026–2027 last August 26, 2026.

Carrying the theme “Tatak Lasalliano: Faith, Service, Community,” the session was designed to inspire and empower our young Lasallians by helping them discover what it means to live out the values of Faith, Service, and Community in their everyday lives.

The session was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the LSGHAA, represented by JJMPK Chairman Joey Recio ’91 and President Louie Orosa ’89, in coordination with the LSGH Office of Student Activities, represented by Mr. Mark Gilbert Rehoy and Ms. Jeanne Medina.

The program began with a short briefing, started by a solemn Lasallian Prayer led by Dir. Joey Recio, and an introduction to the purpose of this endeavor.

Throughout the session, our Grade 5 students were given an opportunity to learn and reflect on the Lasallian spirit through stories, experiences, and relatable examples, including lessons drawn from the life of St. John Baptist de La Salle and inspiring animated films such as KPop Demon Hunters.

Adding a special touch to this session was the participation of our younger generation of LSGH alumni, who generously shared their time, experiences, talents, and insights with our students. Their presence demonstrated how the Lasallian spirit continues to be carried forward from one generation to the next.

The session concluded with a warm awarding and appreciation ceremony, where our speakers received simple tokens of appreciation from the LSGHAA as a gesture of gratitude for their commitment of time, talent, and energy in helping nurture the next generation of Lasallians.

The JJ Malixi’s Project Kapatid continues its mission of building connections between generations of our Lasallian Alumni and inspiring our young students to live out the Lasallian Values of Faith, Service, and Communion.
