In a heartwarming display of generosity and support, the LSGH High School Batch 1969 have once again showed their unwavering commitment to the Lasallian education and its community. In the recent Galing ng Green Grand Alumni Homecoming, they generously donated half a million pesos (Php 500,000) to La Salle Green Hills Alternative Learning System (ALS), reaffirming their dedication to uplifting the people in need and leaving a big impact on society.
The significance of this act is greater than what other people might thought. La Salle Green Hills Alternative Learning System is a program dedicated to provide lifelong learning opportunities for marginalized people who may have been deprived of formal schooling. By supporting this program, the members of Batch 1969 are not only investing in the future of these future Lasallians but also contributing to the bigger goal of creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
This act of charity is a big testament to the enduring spirit of solidarity that defines the Lasallian community. It serves as a reminder that regardless of time, the bonds forged during one’s formative years will remain strong and enduring. Through their generous contribution, the members of Batch 1969 have not only honored our alma mater but also demonstrated their steadfast commitment to living out the Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion.
We, the LSGHAA, extend our gratitude and appreciation to the members of LSGH Batch 1969 for their exceptional kindness and generosity. Your selfless act serves as an inspiration & example to us all, reminding us of how big of an impact a united community can do on the lives of others. May your noble acts of service continue to inspire the future generations of Alumni to embody the Lasallian spirit and strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
Thank you, Secundus, for living the Animo!
