Celebrating the Christmas Season with LSGHAA! 🎄

Last December 6, 2024, the LSGHAA, together with our friends from the Lasallian community, gathered to celebrate the joy of the Christmas season at the new LSGH Alumni Office. The event also honored one of the most beloved figures in the Lasallian community, Brother Roly Dizon FSC.

(LSGHAA Brief History)

Founded in 1978 by Brother Rolando Dizon, FSC, the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association (LSGHAA) was officially born on February 18, 1979, during the Kabihasnan Fair. At that time, over 500 alumni attended a reunion at St. Joseph’s Auditorium (now the Br. Donato Center). The association was established to foster connections among Green Hills graduates, especially those who had attended colleges outside of DLSU and were not part of the broader La Salle Alumni Community.

In a touching tribute to Brother Dizon’s legacy, the LSGHAA Office was officially renamed the Br. Rolando R. Dizon FSC Center for Alumni Affairs. The formal naming ceremony was attended by Brother Roly’s family, including his nieces; Corazon Dizon Bitong, Diana Lyn Dizon Agustin and Ana Lisa Dizon Villavicencio, who shared heartfelt memories of him. Vice President Henry Atayde of Batch 1978 also reminisced about their years of friendship.

Greenlight 2024 total collection turn over to the LSGHAA

The esteemed and much awaited Greenlight 2024 art exhibit wrapped up its successful run in October 2024, marking one of the most successful fundraising projects of the association for this year. LSGHAA President Andoy Reyes expressed his gratitude to Mr. Jack Teotico of Batch ’70 for having the Alumni Association collaborates with Galerie Joaquin. The total collection from Greenlight 2024 amounting to ₱300,250 was officially turned over to the LSGHAA Board through cheque and was followed by a round of applause.

Cheers to the high spirit of the Lasallian Community and Happy Holidays from your LSGHAA! 🎁
